Red Lanterns Haus is a POC queer‑led production haus based on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country, created to hold stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and honoured. We exist at the intersection of culture, community, and creativity — building stages where artists can rise in their fullest expression. Our work spans pole, drag, cabaret, dance, and multidisciplinary performance, championing artists from all backgrounds with a deep commitment to uplifting POC, queer, trans, migrant, SWer, and culturally diverse voices.
Our mission is to create safer, culturally grounded spaces where bold, authentic storytelling can thrive. We imagine a future where every artist — especially those from marginalised communities — has access to platforms, support, and opportunities to shine. Guided by community care, representation, creativity, safety, and collaboration, we build with intention and hold space with respect. Every project we create is shaped by the people who walk through our doors and the stories they carry.
Red Lanterns Haus was born from the glow of community — a light that protects, welcomes, and guides. We carry that symbolism forward in everything we do, crafting work that reflects the resilience, brilliance, and diversity of the communities we belong to. This Haus is a home for creativity, a stage for truth, and a gathering place for artists who deserve to be seen in their power.
The lantern is lit.
Welcome to the Haus.
